Location: Richmond
West end: Richmond Road
East end: Father Capodanno Boulevard

Midland Avenue is a primary east-west avenue in the Grant City and Midland Beach neighborhoods of New York City, in the borough of Staten Island, New York.

Like many parallel streets in the area, it begins at Richmond Road, and then travels southeast for a few quiet residential blocks before passing over the Staten Island Railway about 2 blocks north of the Grant City station at 0.18 miles (0.29 km). It continues onward for more quiet blocks until reaching Hylan Boulevard at 0.34 miles (0.55 km). Upon crossing the boulevard, it more than doubles in width and begins to carry traffic in both east and west directions. Between Richmond Road and Father Copodanno Boulevard it only carries eastbound one-way traffic. West-bound traffic must use Midland Avenue's westbound partner roadway, Lincoln Avenue which is a one-way for its entire length. Upon passing I.S. 2, a New York City public middle school, Midland Avenue becomes a divided boulevard. The rest of the avenue continues before coming to an end at Father Capodanno Boulevard at 0.81 miles (1.30 km).

Besides I.S. 2, the other landmarks on Midland Avenue are the Roman Catholic Parish and affiliated elementary school of St. Christopher.

Midland Avenue is served by the X4, X5, X7, and X8 express buses east of Hylan Blvd, and the S51 local bus for the full length.
